9/5/2022 BAMA
Hey Y'all
How is everybody doing? Hope everyone's week is going well. Hope everyone survived their first week of school.
This week was crazy!!!!!!!!!!
Monday was my last P day in the MTC, played volleyball and bball all day, did laundry, packed and had a blast with my District. Had to say goodbye to a lot of my District and friends from school and the neighborhood.
Tuesday was travel day, we woke up at 3 AM got on train, bus, then another train to get to the airport on time. The second train was a doozy.....felt pretty sick after that. Flew into a rainy stormy Georgia with tons of turbulence. Got a gatorade to keep me from puking. Short flight, all of 30 min to get to BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA.
Arriving in BAMA met the Pres and his wife, the 2 APS. One is cousins with Tony Fineau and the other has the same first name as me!! Yep we hit it off pretty well.
21 of us headed to the Mission home for dinner (lasagna rolls and banana cream pie) then we had our interviews with the President. LOVE THAT MAN!!
Then we went to the hotel and spent the night.
Wednesday was transfer day, at the Stake Center in Prattville AL I found out my companion is Elder Hines from New Jersey. He Loves Bball swimming and country music. He is a stud and I'm so excited to learn from him.
We loaded our stuff and headed to CRESTVIEW FLORIDA!! My new home for now.
Unpacked and set up our stuff.
Thursday and Friday we had companion study and learned A LOT and shopped then we both got a little under the weather so we took it easy.
Saturday we had comp study, went out and blessed homes for the first time....AMAZING. I gave out my first B of M and asked the lady to read the introduction and pray about it. The SPIRIT was there!! We had dinner with the Miller family (spaghetti YUM)
Sunday we went to church. Sat by a member with no hair or teeth, but hey he was happy and at church. Fast and Testimony meeting, lots got up and bore testimony of baptism. Then we tracted for a couple hours. A guy named Jose he is 17 and has 4 kids......He said he wants to get baptized so we'll be meeting with him again this week. I got to do Come Follow Me with my family via facetime and Bless their home as well. Sorry Mom for making you cry. Again the Spirit was strong.
I'm super afraid of dogs, and they are all around so that'll be a fear I have to get over.....
Love you all
